Nestled between sea and sky, we are protected and sheltered by the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas, gazing upon the imposing Mediterranean Sea and, on clear days, we can see the Atlantic Ocean and the North of Africa in the distance. Since 1840, when on this same location the "Ventorrillo de Luna" opened, humbly providing food and shelter to the traveller, EL HIGUERÓN has changed names, but we keep the spirit alive of serving our customers with the very best traditional food with deft touches of modernity.

In our constant evolution, we stand firm with our roots, but continue to include improvements in our service in order to adapt to your needs.  A year ago we opened THE TERRACE so that you might relax by dining or enjoying a drink on inviting summer nights and in the moonlight.  And we place at your disposal an EVENTS service so that your celebrations mark the difference in both our inside rooms and outside in the open air.
